They refused to rent us a car, despite literally confirming by calling Budget earlier in the day, simply because we "made the reservation the same day of the pick up." They had keys for us. Nobody in line behind us. Has taken all our info. But saw it was same day reservation and refused. We walked over the enterprise and rented with them on the spot no issues for the same price. Never use Budget.

The customer-facing staff decided to close the office 5 minutes early and threatened me that I would have to keep the car incurring expenses for another couple of days over the weekend, They were rude and dismissive, and the only way I could return the car was to call their manager and complain. Furthermore, the staff neglected to inform me about the option to add the car to my road toll payment app. This lack of information led to me incurring a high service fee for toll road payments, which I consider to be a very poor business practice. Overall, the car was fine, but the service was deplorable, and I will not be hiring from Budget again!

I booked a reservation through Kayak for $93.50, but Hertz would not honor the price. They HAD the reservation, they simply wouldn't honor the price. The price they gave me was $166.13 and the person at the rental desk basically said "Take it or leave it". I had no choice but to take it since I had to be somewhere quickly

The reservation on interned and personally by Herz is totally different. Price fast doubled, hidden infos and costs.

Horrible As a steady customer and Airline employee Hertz and Kayak have just showed the worst communication experience in my 55 years of renting cars I needed to change the day by one due to illness in family and tried for 2 hours on the telephone Finally getting a outsourced Hertz employee that just didn’t care in the Philippines . I was told I gave to cancel my kayak rental myself. I tried for hours and was told finally that hertz can cancel it however it will be a different rate of almost $78 more Anyway. Not going to waist my time with this experience review because it will be going no where I will certainly voice my experience with yelp etc etc. Buckle in hertz Kayak for your ride of negative Review. Goodbye Hertz HELLO SITX they treated me like a king with my new reservation

The staff was very friendly and even though I didn't get the car I reserved, I really liked the rental they gave me instead. It would be nice if dropping off could be more efficient, especially since the staff was already slammed with trying to help ppl who were picking up rentals for the weekend (they were working as fast as they can they deserve an award), so we were just kinda standing around until someone had time to check the car we were returning. But all in all a good experience and I would definitely recommend to others.

The car had a strong vibration throughout the drive tha.There was clearly a lack of cleaning.. there is a sticky substance around the gearshift. I use the supplied cleaning, wipe wipe to clean .

Pros:

Pickup and dropoff were a breeze

Cons:

Car was filthy, but I rented at the last minute so maybe there was no time to clean? Windows had paint pen on them, windshield had tape on it like it had just been replaced, interior hadn't been cleaned and there might have been mustard on the steering wheel!
