  • Which airport is closest to Tallahassee?

Tallahassee is the capital of the state of Florida and forms part of the Florida Panhandle in the northwest region of the state. To get there you should first fly into Orlando Airport which is the closest of the major hubs (about 414 km away) and then board a connecting flight from there to Tallahassee International Airport (TLH).

  • I wish to visit the Florida Keys. Which airport should I fly into?

The Florida Keys are a series of small islands that mark the southern boundary of the state, from Key Largo to Key West, and are a popular tourist destination. Of the two major airports in the area, Miami Airport is closer than the airport in Ft. Lauderdale, so you should get a connecting flight into Key West International Airport (EYW) from Miami.

  • Which airport is the most convenient to get to the Daytona National Speedway?

Orlando Airport is the most convenient to fly into. Although Daytona Beach has its own airport (DAB), you won’t need a connecting flight because there is an airport shuttle bus from MCO which takes just over 1h to get to Daytona Beach.

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight to Florida from Canada is likely to change within 7 days, so travelers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from Canada to Florida?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional round-trip ticket. You could then fly to Florida with an airline and back to Canada with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Canada to Florida?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying to Florida from Canada up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

Top tips for finding a cheap flight out of Canada

  • There are four air hubs for flights to Florida from Canada. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the largest and busiest of them, while Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) are hubs servicing the southern parts of the state. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is a gateway into the west and the Gulf of Mexico.
  • If you are flying from Ottawa International Airport (YOW) into Florida then your flight will need to make a couple of connecting stops while en-route to Miami International Airport (MIA). The first stop takes place at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), and from there your second stop will be at New York’s JFK International Airport before continuing to Miami.
  • If you wish to explore the various cities along the western coast, then you should book a flight to Florida that lands at Tampa International Airport. From there, you can visit a few of the cities located along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. These include St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Cape Coral, and even go as far northwest as Pensacola.
  • The south of Florida is home to the state’s biggest lake, Lake Okeechobee, as well as the expansive wetlands of the Everglades National Park. Both Fort Lauderdale and Miami provide great access to the national park, but if you’re hoping to visit the lake first then consider a flight that lands at Fort Lauderdale Airport.
  • MCO Airport is the most centrally located of the major airports and so it’s a perfect launchpad to explore the central and northeastern reaches of the state. From Gainesville and Ocala in the interior, and from Jacksonville to Cape Canaveral along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, all are easily accessible from Orlando’s airport.

Not very comfortable seated in the back plane due to turbulence

Everything about Korean air is great, hands down! Will always prefer this airline from other carriers.

Ford not that great the seat not to big for leg room like other airline

New plane. Perfect gluten free meal Very flawless procedures from check-in to the landing. Taking off on time and landing even earlier and the luggages are already there after shortest arrival report.

It was ok. Not good and not a bad experience

not too bad but not too great either. Service on all airlines declined ever since covid. Your Delta Stewardess are not that friendly at all. :-(

I like your stewardess, they are nice. However, your food could have been better and wheres your dessert? You do not offer beer or scotch. I do not drink alcohol biut my husband can have one or two, he has to ask if he can have one. during dinner or lunch, it should be offerred. Also, you do not have the most famous drinks ginger ale

Not accommodating ground staff On board slow service Crew members not very friendly

lunch was good; breakfast was kinda meh cabin temprature was way too high new entertainment system but somewhat limited content

I was expecting that movie selection and food would have been better. Everything else was great.

The type of the food requested (Asian vegetarian) was not properly met with. They have very limited snack items that may compensate for the main meals.

The quality of the food is pretty good. Thank you, EVA Air.

Pleasant crew. Very long flight, a bit uncomfortable at times being seated, but not too bad.

No ice for the drinks. Only gave a half a cup of your beverage. Not enough water. I got very dehydrated.

Experience was good. Check-in at airport was slower than norm.

seamless check in/ friendly staff, food is good, always love flying Eva Air

Eva is one of the top airlines in Asia... but often are over priced. Finally found a reasonable rate.

My original flight was rescheduled & EVA did a good job rescheduling my flight & connecting flight.

Polite hard working crew. No complaints really. Meals were not to my liking.

The flight was cancelled. I wasn't informed where to check in, how and when. It wasn't easy to get in contact with Cathay service representative, and they were not very helpful... The staff on the airport - Air Canada (I assume) were the most helpful, kind efficient, patient... Thank you for all your help and care, for your patience, for your professionalism!!!

Very comfortable Prem economy seats for a long haul flight. Had a problem with the tv that the crew fixed so was great!

Excellent. Planes are a little older and could get some refurbishment, but besides that everything was excellent.

Not good. Flight was purchased for my father who needed medical assistance to board and transfer due to a heart condition. No one at Hong Kong from Cathay was there to assist and he barely made the connection. When I talked to him he could barely breath and was not sure he was going to make it. Really poor service even though the ticket stated he needed a wheelchair assistance.

The boarding experience was as expected and went well. The plane's economy seating plan is not designed for a positive customer experience but rather for company profit. When the passenger in front of me reclined, the distance from the screen to my face was the span of my hand (thumb tip to pinky fingertip). There is no such thing as personal space in this setting. This results in the domino effect, for when I recline the person in back of me reclines and so it goes. This is not to say that reclining is the answer as the experience is not increased, but simply managed.

we were upgraded which was a blessing and tender mercy for us. I fell the day before and was in extreme pain from knee to shoulder. Sitting in a more comfortable seat during the flight was an unexpected blessing and experience.

My seat was sold off to someone else. Had to wait 9 hours to catch the next filght. Definitely will never use Cathay Pacific again. Bad, very bad airline. will comment on google reviews too.

Not impressed with check in desk staff at Vancouver airport. Not a professional mind service and not cared or tried to help. Don’t think I would fly with them again

The coffee in Premium economy and economy is terrible. That's it. Everything else is great

One of the worst flight in business class by qatar airways and I’m no stranger with qatar airways businesses class, I travelled with the extensively in the past 12 years

My window shade didn’t work. So I missed coming into my city. ☹️

Marked by flight delays on all segments of the trip. Food in first class cabin was mediocre and overhead cabin storage was not adequate. Overall, the premium charge for first class cabin was poor and over hyped. This will be our last flight with UA.

We enjoyed that we boarded and took off on time. We didn’t like that our connection flight was a twenty minute walk through the airport with only one hour in between flights.

It was good! Appreciated that it was very on schedule so it made the connecting flight less stressful

There was a group of school age passengers that were very loud and unruly with their chaperones were no where to be found.

Two flights, both poor. No entertainment. Cramped and uncomfortable seats, little space, the rest was OK. Staff were acceptable good.

flight delays, staff only communicating when pushed, food service lasting a grand total of 7 minutes, stuck in seat from 45mins into flight until landing

The crew was doing their best on an old plane needing updating. Chairs that creaked and wouldn’t stay in position. My tray table was unusable as was on-board entertainment due the audio needing usb earphones (that were not provided). Prior to boarding in Toronto and despite being scheduled for a wheelchair and assistance, we were dropped off by clubcar without a wheelchair which I found myself by a gate. Due to no boarding gate assigned at that time we waited and when it was, it subsequently was moved from 64 to 95. No help could be found so I pushed my husband’s chair to that furthest gate in the airport at the highest speed possible for a 73 year old. And by that I mean I ran. It was a very stressful experience.

Wifi wasn't working on one of the UA flights after boarding.

I liked everything about the flight. The service was excellent!

My mother, 80years old, had arranged for wheelchair assist to and from the aircraft cabin and in the airport but, no one showed up for her to de-plane. Apart from Air Canada having a reputation of being late for every leg of its flight so nothing was new this time so this time they did worse by not assisting seniors. I guess our whole family is done with this airline

Flights delayed over 4 hours with no compensation. No agents at counters to assist with re-booking.

Seating for almost 3 hours in the plan before aircraft takeoff. Very exhausted .

The bathroom did not have hand soap. That is unacceptable.

The only problem I encountered was they changed the gate on me while I was sitting down but no one notified me, they had sent me an email and by coincidence I checked it and found out that they had changed my boarding terminal. No one notified me and when I had asked the lady she told me yes this is the spot while they had already changed to another gate/terminal

I was seated next to someone who was, to be polite, not a small person. I had to press myself against the wall as I had no personal space. Aside from that the crew was wonderful and they got me home safely, which is the most important part of my journey. I am very appreciative to your air crews for the job they have, which isn't easy, and appreciative of the fact that they are professional and courteous. The employees I encountered on my journey, with the few exceptions I mentioned in a previous review, are a credit to Air Canada.

Air Canada had a lot of delays on our flight going back to Seattle. So much inconvenience for a long trip.

Moderate size plane, not completely full, easy boarding, some rows with just 2 seats so a couple can have a row to themselves

The Carry-on luggage that approved by TSA and all other airlines,- always an issue with Air Canada. This is inappropriate as my carry on suitcase meets the requirements however it always asked to check in on AC flight on the gate. Yes I have it for free, but it takes extra time to pick up on the carousel. Apparently it fit the overhead space, so why AC has this issue all the time?

The terminal this flight boarded from was so far away, poorly temperature controlled, and generally uncomfortable. The plane was small but the flight was short, so it wasn't so bad.
